Choice is one of our greatest superpowers and when we remember that we can choose, we stay out of victimhood. Even when things are happening to us and around us, we can choose how we are going to respond. And let me tell you, from your soul’s perspective, we grow the most when we choose against the odds and from our heart and soul.
Your own dear soul knows this is a School of Hard Knocks dimension, full of random and mostly chaotic events, but it’s how we choose to deal with the craziness that ends up counting the most.
Choice keeps us in our power and once you fully own all your choices, playing the victim card no longer works. Even when we come up against things we can’t change.
Death, taxes, political and social turmoil. Aging and illness. Other people behaving as they do. The passage of time and the movement of our planet through space. All of these things will be what they will be. And yet, we can still choose how we are going to respond.
Can you respond with kindness and compassion?
Can you keep your heart open?
Can you rise up and set a boundary when you need to?
Can you remember to savor every sweet moment too since there are many of those?
Choose the light and you will get more of it. I promise!
