I love it that there is a whole holiday about love. On this day, we honor that love rules us all and is at the very center of the Universe. Love is the real reason we exist, to experience love fully in all its forms.
And to wake up from the delusion that we are not loved.
How can we be when we are actually made of love?
Love is the glue that holds our molecules together.
Love is inside every atom of your being. It is the energy that makes up matter. And when it really fall for you, it springs something out of energy into matter, just for you. Just so that you have a body to be in and a place to exist.
The Universe is love song written just for you.
Love created you- perfect and amazing being that you are.
And it created a perfect universe for you to experience yourself in, out of sheer adoration for YOU!
We forget this and live in the delusion of loss, separation and pain so we can have the pleasure of waking up again. Every minute, every second is that chance to remember that love reigns.
The waking up part, the enlightenment, is soooo delicious that we do it over and over again. It’s like the pleasure we feel when we wake up out of a nightmare into a new day with the sun shining on our faces.
So go out and buy the chocolates and roses. Spread the love around. Take all day to tell your peeps how much you love and adore them. Make sure you give that to yourself too.
That is the real love affair. The world and all its people are a bright and shiny mirror whose sole purpose it to reflect that love right back to you.
