Someone

Lisa Campion - Author

A new author just asked to me endorse their book. I really feel like a pro now. It’s so fun to be on the other side of it now, having been all the way through the process and not feeling like such a newbie anymore.

Last week my publisher contacted me and said that they were thrilled at the way my current book is going (yay!) and can I please submit another proposal as soon as I can and that it would be well received. They want me to write another book!

Good thing I was already done (almost) with the proposal for book #2. Now I just need to cough up an introduction and chapter 1. So I am back to writing daily and I have to say that I (mostly) love it!

Writing is a strange process for me. It’s hard a lot of the times but very soul satisfying. It scratches an itch deep in my psyche which I love except when it makes me crazy.

I love writing so much and it also pushes me consistently to my edge. I think I must like edge, since I am often there. When the writing gets tough, I clean my house like a maniac, which is also good. I am upgrading from drawers and cabinets and starting to cast my eye on my basement and garage so it must be a doozy of a book.

So I am hanging out with the knowledge that I have another book deal in sight. Woot! And gasp! But mostly woot!
