Sometimes I feel like I am standing at the center of a hurricane. My life (and the world) whirls around me. My brain struggles with trying to make sense of chaos and what seems like random happenings. What’s on the news today (and everyday) is crazy and my people, my family, friends and clients seem to be at the mercy of that chaos.
But my heart can see the pattern behind the chaos and my soul trusts that there is a greater purpose to the breaking down, the breaking open that is happening in our very personal spheres and also across the globe.
What I do know is that it is time to take a stand. We are all called now to stand for what we believe in.
I stand for love, compassion, mercy and peace. I know it seems old fashioned or maybe even naïve, but my soul whispers to me that this is the way to ground the hurricane.
May I be a candle in the darkness and may we all choose the light.
