The wheel of the year has turned again. We usher in 2022 as the door closes on 2021

Happy New Year

It’s hard not to want to kick 2021 on the behind as it heads out of the door, isn’t it?

It’s been another “interesting” year for many of us. Full of plot twists, sudden endings, expansive openings and a lot of the worms coming out if the woodwork.

It’s hard to be believe that we are coming into three years of not only a pandemic, but also the continued breakdown of the world as we knew it.

We are in a massive, global and very personal period of deconstruction. All that is no longer working is going to dissolve. This is an important, although highly uncomfortable stage of the alchemical process, the process of evolution.

So that we may evolve, the dead things in ourselves, our lives and our world will dissolve way and we have a period of chaos until the new arrives. Anything that didn’t really resonate with your true self is going dissolve, if it hasn’t already and we are emerging like brand new babes, still a little wet behind the ears, into a different world.

This was the year to let go, let go and let go some more. The folks who surrendered to this with grace fared a little better than those that tried to hold onto the past. But no matter which way you did it, it was into the blender for all of us.

And now as we head into a brand new year, it’s a powerful time to grieve our losses and count our blessings. And I think whatever remained was truly yours to keep.

And yet, inside the chaos, there is always opportunity. What is it that you want to create, phoenix like, from the ashes of the old?

I desire a world of abundance and prosperity for all. I know we can do it.

And I wish for a world where love and compassion for others prevails. May we make decisions with both our hearts and our heads in harmony within ourselves and with others.

May we learn to cherish our similarities and respect our differences.

And may we honor the web of life that we are a part of and remember that we cannot exist without being a part of this web of life.

I wish for you that 2022 brings you all that your heart desires and then more.
